Calgon Carbon Division (Company Driver)
Our Calgon Carbon Division hauls carbon for one of the
world's largest producers of carbon, Calgon. This division is permitted
to operate in all 48 states in the continental United States and Canada.
Our Calgon Carbon Division terminals are located in
Kenova, West Virginia and Neville Island, Pennsylvania. Drivers based
in
Kenova primarily haul to the Northwest, Southwest, Midwest, Southeast
and Canada. Drivers based in Neville Island primarily
haul to the Northeast, Southeast and Canada. In most cases, the driver
is out and back.
Driver Requirements:
• Must be 23 years of age
• Must have a Class A CDL with Haz Mat and tanker endorsements
• No more than two moving violations within the last three years
• No more than one preventable accident within the last three
years
• No DUI or DWI within the last five years
• Eighteen (18) months of verifiable tractor and trailer experience
within the last three years
• Pass a DOT pre-employment drug test
• Pass a DOT physical or have a current DOT physical with Longform
• Must pass Pulmonary Function Test/RER
• No facial hair for proper respirator fit
Orientation and Training:
• Two (2) day orientation in Columbiana, Ohio of which you are
paid a rate of $10.00 per hour
• Forty (40) hour Haz WOPER training course of which you are paid
a rate of $10.00 per hour
• Driver training period of anywhere from four to six weeks another
driver to load and unload the carbon of which you are paid
$100 per day
Home Time:
• Home 2-3 days per week
