DUMP & ROLL-OFF DIVISION

Our Dump & Roll-Off Division is one of the industry leaders in the transportation of hazardous and non- hazardous materials.  This division is permitted to operate in all 48 states of the continental United States and Canada but mostly regional runs are available.

Our Dump/Roll-Off Division terminal is located in Columbiana, Ohio.  This division is permitted to haul various commodities such as sludge, contaminated dirt, scrap, stone, rock, coke, C&D, waste water filter, etc. across all 48 states and Canada.

Driver Requirements:

• Must be 23 years of age
• Must have a Class A CDL with Haz Mat endorsement
• No more than two moving violations within the last three years
• No more than one preventable accident within the last three years
• No DUI or DWI within the last five years
• Eighteen (18) months of verifiable tractor and trailer experience within the last three years
• Dump and/or roll-off trailer experience
• Must be physically capable of tarping trailers or roll-off boxes
• Pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen
• Must possess a valid DOT Medical Certificate AND Medical Examiner’s Report
• Must pass Pulmonary Function Test
• No facial hair for proper respirator fit

 

Tractor Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a recent federal inspection.  Inspection must be done within thirty (30) days prior to lease agreement.  No age requirement if the inspection passes.
• Dart Trucking Company will provide unit numbers, signs and permits
• Provided a preventative maintenance schedule
• Must have a wet system

Primary Hiring Areas

• Northeast Ohio
• Western Pennsylvania

Orientation and Training:

• One day orientation training in Columbiana, Ohio of which you are paid a rate of $80.00 per day
• Forty (40) hour Haz WOPER training course of which you are paid a rate of $80.00 per day

 

Compensation Package:

• 75% of 100% of the gross with your trailer
• 70% of 100% of the gross with a Dart Trucking Company trailer
• 75% of demurrage pay when properly executed
• 100% of fuel surcharge
• Paid every Friday.  Two week hold on first check.

Home Time:

• Home one to two days a week

Equipment:

• Framed and frameless dump trailers, roll-off trailers and roll-off boxes
• Trailers available at 5% of 100% of the gross
• Qualcomm available at $15.00 per week

Permit and Plate Program:

• 48 state IRP Plate Program at $31.50 per week
• 48 state permits at no charge

 

Insurance:

• Cargo coverage required through Dart Trucking Company:
• $17.95 per week with $500.00 deductible
• $9.95 per week with $1,000.00 deductible
• Liability coverage required through Dart Trucking Company:
• $17.95 per week with $500.00 deductible
• $9.95 per week with $1,000 deductible
• Form of Occupational Accident Insurance is required:
• Can carry your own coverage
• Dart offers two coverage options at $36.00 per week and $47.00 per week
• Non-trucking (bobtail) and deadhead insurance available at $8.95 per week
• Optional physical damage insurance available

Comdata Fuel Card Program:

• 40% of your truck pay loaded on your Comdata Card for fuel and other road expenses
• Fuel only card available as well at $650.00 per day
• Comdata charge of $1.25 to load money
• Comdata charge of $1.75 to retrieve cash
• No charge for use to fuel

Road and Fuel Taxes:

• NY HUT available for $24.00
• Dart Trucking will pay and report all your fuel taxes for only $12.50 per week

Incentives:

• Bonus of $1,500 awarded after one year of employment
• Referral bonus of $500 per driver awarded in $100 installments up to five months that the driver is employed
