HAZARDOUS WASTE DIVISION (OWNER OPERATOR)

Our Hazardous Waste Division is one of the industry leaders in the transportation of hazardous materials.
This division primarily operates in a 22-state area east of the Mississippi River, although we are also
permitted to operate in all 48 states of the continental US and Canada.

Our Haz Waste Division terminals are located in Columbiana, Ohio and Chicago, Illinois. This division hauls
general freight to the East Coast, mainly the Mid-Atlantic states and New England. In turn, the driver will
bring hazardous waste materials back to the Midwest, mainly to the Clevland, Cincinnati, Detroit and Chicago
areas.We are permitted to haul general commodity freight and specialize in hauling industrial hazardous waste.

Driver Requirements:
• Must be 23 years of age
• Must have a Class A CDL and Haz Mat endorsement
• No more than two moving violations within the last three years
• No more than one preventable accident within the last three years
• No DUI or DWI within the last five years
• Eighteen (18) months of verifiable tractor and trailer experience within the last three years
• Pass a DOT pre-employment drug test
• Pass a DOT physical or have a current DOT physical with Longform
• Must pass Pulmonary Function Test/RER
• No facial hair for proper respirator fit

Tractor Requirements:
• Must be able to pass a recent federal inspection. Inspection must be done within thirty (30) days
  prior to lease agreement. No age requirement if inspection passes
• Dart Trucking will provide unit numbers, signs and permits
• Provided a preventative maintenance schedule

Orientation and Training:
• Two (2) day orientation in Columbiana, Ohio of which you are paid a rate of $10.00 per
  hour
• Forty (40) hour Haz WOPER training course of which you are paid a rate of $10.00 per hour

Compensation Package:
• 83% before Haz WOPER Training Course.
• 75% after Haz WOPER Training Course. Most owner/operators in this division gross over $4,000 per week
   to the truck if they are willing to run
• 75% of demurrage pay when properly executed
• 100% of the fuel surcharge

Home Time:
• Home weekends

Equipment:
• 48’ and 53’ dry vans
• Trailers are available for lease at 5% of 100%. You must lease a trailer from Dart Trucking Company
  because 90% of loads are drop and hook
• Qualcomm available at $15.00 per week

Permit and Plate Program:
• 48 state IRP Plate Program at $31.50 per week
• 48 state permits at no charge

Insurance:
• Cargo coverage required:
      $17.95 weekly with $500.00 deductible
      $9.95 weekly with $1,000.00 deductible
• Liability coverage required:
      $17.95 weekly with $500.00 deductible
      $9.95 weekly with $1,000 deductible
• Form of Occupational Accident Insurance is required:
      Can carry your own coverage
      Dart offers two coverage options at $36 weekly and $47 weekly
• Optional physical damage insurance available
• Optional Bobtail and deadhead insurance available at $8.95 per week

Comdata Fuel Card Program:
• 40% of your truck pay, loaded on your Comdata Card for fuel and other road expenses
• Comdata charge of $1.25 to load money
• Comdata charge of $1.75 to retrieve cash
• No charge for use to fuel

Road and Fuel Taxes:
• NY HUT available for $24.00
• Dart Trucking will pay and report all your fuel taxes for only $12.50 per week

Incentives:
• Bonus of $1500.00 after one (1) year of employment
• Referral bonus of $500.00 per driver awarded in $100 installations up to five months that the driver is
  employed
