Municipal Solid Waste Division (Company Driver)

Our Municipal Solid Waste Division is one of the industry leaders in the transportation of municipal solid waste. This
division primarily operates Northeast Ohio and the east coast, although we are permitted to operate in all 48 states
in the continental United States and Canada.

Our Municipal Solid Waste Division terminal is located in Columbiana, Ohio. This division hauls general commodities
and industrial freight to the East Coast, manily Connecticut, New Jersey and Brooklyn and the Bronx in New York City
(flatbed drivers). We do not haul food products or hazardous materials. In turn, the driver will bring bailed trash back
to landfills in Ohio (Poland, Waynesburg and Germano).

Driver Requirements:
• Must be 23 years of age
• Must have a Class A CDL.
• No more than two moving violations within the last three years
• No more than one preventable accident within the last three years
• No DUI or DWI within the last five years
• Eighteen (18) months of verifiable tractor and trailer experience within the last three years
• Pass a DOT pre-employment drug test
• Pass a DOT physical or have a current DOT physical with Longform

Orientation and Training:
• Two (2) day orientation in Columbiana, Ohio of which you are paid a rate of $10.00 per hour

Home Time:
• Home weekends
• May be home one or two nights during the week, depending upon where you live

Equipment:
• Flatbed trailers
• Open-top trailers
• Freightliner Century or Freightliner FLD 120 tractors

Compensation Package:

• Rate paid on all miles and based on PC Miler
• Demurrage pay at $12.00 per hour when properly executed
• Flatbed drivers securement pay and tarping pay of $30.00 per load
• Open-top drivers securement pay of $20.00 per load for chaining of freight Tarping/un-tarping pay of $12.00 per load
  $35.00 per round for any Thomas Steel Strip loads.
• Drop/pick up fee if $25.00 for any loads that have multiple drops or pick-ups
• A city fee of $22.00 for each trip into the New York City area (including the five boroughs and Long Island). This division does not go into
  New York City
• Overnight road allowance of $20.00 per night
• Per diem of $41.00 per night
• Paid every Friday. Two week hold on first check
